12 Sri Lankan nationals apprehended

CHENNAI: The Coast Guard on Tuesday apprehended 12 Sri Lankan nationals who were found fishing in Indian waters along the Andhra Pradesh border.

 

 

 

According to police sources, Coast Guard patrolling vessels noticed two fishing boats engaged in fishing near the Nizampatnam coast. The fishermen Asintha Prabat (32) and 11 others were handed over to the Kasimedu police on Wednesday, the sources added.
